CandCI is committed to accessibility, diversity and inclusion. This also applies to sustainable approaches to each of important issues. We believe all of our website visitors and guests should be able to access CandCI.com website. For this, we strive simultaneously to provide a visually rich user experience.
-Our website is entirely written in HTML. Structure: Each page contains valid, structured, semantic HTML5. Visual styling is provided by Cascading StyleSheet coding. Below is a list of 12 items we have implemented to improve our website pages, to make them as easy as possible to navigate for all users.
Our easy navigation webpage layouts are structured for individuals using a screen reader and all electronic devices such as smart phones, tablets, laptops. Each page has a navigation bar on the top of the page. Also on the left side and at the bottom of the website page you can access the full page and more pages.
We use semantic HTML5 with appropriate tags to distinguish content headings, sections, listings, tables, and other formatting features. All these make it easier on the visitors to easily and consistently use the website with assistive technology. As technology improves so are we. Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and JavaScript are included to enhance user interaction.
Wherever images appear on our website pages, a text-based alternative is provided for screen readers to read the alternate text content.
CandCI goal is to facilitate access to our website using assistive technologies, such as a screen reader, text to speech or speech recognition software, screen magnifier, and/or keyboard emulators, to all that need them.
Audio and video content are used from time to time depending on events. In that case, our website pages will contain audio and video contents. As we review our website periodically, whenever, it is feasible, we provide a text-based alternative, including captions and transcripts.
Most modern browsers support page zooming functionality, to allow users to increase or decrease the size of the page content without loss of content or function. Our website pages are optimized to use the browser zoom functionality. Users will be able to zoom-in or zoom-out for most parts of the website pages when available.
Most parts of our website pages can be accessed using only tab-based keyboard or keyboard emulators to navigate through the site.
Browser support are tested on our website pages to render correctly on most recent versions of Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari and Google.
There are also third party providers components. From time to time our website pages use third party vendor providers components. While CandCI cannot control third-party components, we encourage our vendors to provide content and components that are accessible and user friendly.
For the user generated content, some of our website pages use social media widgets that contain user-generated content and images. CandCI does not control user-generated content, including whether it is accessible or user friendly.
